What We Build

Our custom cabinetry service covers a wide range of retail fixtures. This includes refrigerated and ambient display cabinets, service counters (deli, bakery, butcher, seafood), checkout counters and front-end units, feature end displays and promotional fixtures, specialty storage and back-of-house cabinetry, and branded feature walls and department entry statements.

Every piece is designed to your specifications, manufactured in our facility, and finished to a standard that holds up under the demands of daily retail use.

In-House Manufacturing

Lane operates a full-service 3,000 square metre fabrication facility equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and cabinet-making equipment. This in-house capability means we control the entire production process — from design and prototyping through to finishing and quality inspection.

Having manufacturing in-house also gives us flexibility. We can accommodate design changes during production, manage tight timelines when needed, and ensure every unit meets our quality standards before it leaves the workshop.

Design Collaboration

Custom work starts with understanding what you need. Our team works with you to define the brief — dimensions, materials, finishes, branding elements, refrigeration requirements, and any operational considerations. We then produce detailed drawings and, where useful, 3D renders so you can see and approve the design before fabrication begins.

We also work closely with refrigeration specialists, signage suppliers, and other trades to ensure our cabinetry integrates seamlessly with the broader store environment.

Built for Retail

Retail fixtures take a beating. They're loaded and unloaded daily, cleaned regularly, bumped by trolleys, and expected to look good for years. Our cabinetry is built with commercial-grade materials and construction methods specifically suited to retail environments — not residential joinery adapted for commercial use.
