The Good Grocer East Fremantle

The Good Grocer East Fremantle has officially opened its doors at 6 Silas Street, transforming the former Foodworks site into a modern, 24/7 gourmet supermarket and liquor store. The grand opening on March 22, 2025, was celebrated with a day of festivities, including food tastings, giveaways, and live music, inviting the local community to experience the new store.

Integral to the store’s transformation was the expertise of Lane Industries, which delivered a comprehensive store fitout. Their in-house design team worked closely with The Good Grocer to bring the East Fremantle store to life, ensuring a seamless integration of fixtures and layout that reflects the brand’s premium offering.

This East Fremantle store is the 13th IGA opened by the Brindle Group and the first Australian supermarket to launch Easyfill™ smart shelves in the drinks area.

The Good Grocer East Fremantle is now open and ready to serve the community with a curated selection of WA-grown produce, in-house prepared meals, and a bakery offering fresh tortillas, pastries, and bread.

The store also features an integrated liquor store, The Good Grocer Cellar, providing a unique selection of wines, beers, and spirits from both local and international sources.
