Our Facility

Our fabrication workshop is equipped with advanced CNC machinery, commercial cabinet-making equipment, and dedicated areas for both timber and metal work. This allows us to produce a wide range of components under one roof — from large-format display cabinets and service counters to smaller detail pieces like feature panels, trim, and branded elements.

Having timber and metal fabrication in the same facility is a significant advantage. Many retail fixtures require both materials — a produce bunk might combine a steel frame with timber cladding, or a checkout counter might use metal structural supports with laminate finishing. We produce both in-house rather than coordinating between separate workshops.

What We Manufacture

Our joinery and fabrication services cover display cabinets (ambient and refrigerated housings), service counters and checkout units, shelving components and gondola modifications, feature walls, panelling, and department entry statements, back-of-house storage and preparation area fittings, and specialty one-off pieces for bespoke projects.

We work with a range of materials including commercial-grade plywood, laminates, solid timber, powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and acrylic. Material selection is guided by the application — we recommend finishes and substrates that will perform well in the specific retail environment they're destined for.

Quality Control

Every piece that leaves our workshop goes through quality checks before dispatch. We inspect for dimensional accuracy, finish quality, hardware function, and packaging integrity. Because we manufacture in-house, we can catch and resolve issues before they reach site — avoiding costly delays and rework during installation.

Integrated with Our Fitout Services

Our fabrication capability is tightly integrated with our design, project management, and installation services. When Lane manages a full fitout, our workshop receives detailed production drawings directly from the design team, manufactures to the project timeline, and coordinates dispatch with the installation schedule. This end-to-end integration is one of the key reasons our projects run smoothly and deliver consistent quality.
